Welcome the start of summer by joining Fairmount Park Conservancy and Eunmi Chang from Eunmi’s Sound Healing & Yoga for a one-of-a-kind immersive experience in West Fairmount Park.
We’ll start out by learning and moving through a series of tai chi exercises. Tai chi combines slow, focused movements and deep breathing, allowing us to tap into a peaceful space before transitioning into a sound healing meditation. During the 45-minute sound healing meditation, Eunmi will utilize singing bowls and other instruments to guide us into a deep meditative state. Manage your stress, improve your well-being, and literally find your grounding outside in the park.
What is a Sound Bath? Essentially, a sound bath is a meditation class with ambient sound played by the instructor that aims to guide you into a deeper meditative state. Sound baths use singing bowls and other traditional instruments to play repetitive notes at different frequencies to help bring your focus away from your obsessive thoughts. Think of it as an improvised meditative “concert” in a unique setting.
