Ready for Broad Street?
Hit the trails for your choice of an 8.5 mile or 4 mile morning run with Fairmount Park Conservancy and NBC10, Telemundo62 reporter Miguel Martinez-Valle.
Join us for the full 8.5 miles, which will take us along West Fairmount Park's Trolley Trail and Belmont Plateau trails and continue over to East Fairmount Park's Boxers' Trail before heading back West to our starting point. Or join us on the first few miles in West Fairmount Park. Participants for the full 8.5 miles will receive a special memento!
Date & Time: Wednesday, April 17th 7:30am-9:00am the run will be at a friendly pace (10-minute mile) with stops to wait for folks to catch up. Rain date: April 23 (will e-mail in case of any changes)
Meeting location: Chamounix Hostel
Other details: Fairmount Park Conservancy's Kevin Roche will lead the run. Snacks will be provided after the run, please bring water! This run will be featured later in the season on NBC10's new series highlighting the hidden gems of Philly's parks so participants should be comfortable with a camera documenting parts of the run.
