Fairmount Park Conservancy and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation would like to invite all current and potential Park Friends Network members to join us to learn more about the Network at Wissahickon Brewing Company (3705 W School House Ln, Philadelphia, PA 19129) on Tuesday, October, 17th from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM.
The first 50 people to arrive will have their first beer or cider on us! The Molto Bene Ravioli Co. Food Truck will also be on-site with food for purchase.
This year we celebrate 30 years of the Park Friends Network, to reflect on this milestone we’re to reflect on the history and future of the 140+ Park Friends Groups! During the event there will be opportunities to:
Meet with current members of the Network to learn more about getting involved in your own neighborhood and the activities available to participate in
Hear stories about how the Network has grown from 4 groups initially to 140+ groups
See the value in being a part of the Network directly through the positive impact on the Philadelphia Park system since the Network’s inception in 1993

While we are excited to host you all for in-person gatherings, we continue to monitor updates and changes to the COVID-19 virus and its variants by way of guidance from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and the Pennsylvania & Philadelphia Departments of Public Health.
Attending the event is an understanding that any gathering still presents a risk for COVID-19, join at your own discretion. Fairmount Park Conservancy and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation will work to mitigate exposure to all attendees but, cannot be held responsible for any potential exposure.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on Site: We will ensure that masks are available and provide hand sanitizer stations in an effort to maintain a safe environment for all attendees
