Park Champion Pop-Up Run and Happy Hour

By Fairmount Park Conservancy (other events)

2 Dates Through Mar 04, 2017

ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for a ~5 mile run through Fairmount Park followed by a happy hour at the Whole Foods Market at 2101 Pennsylvania Avenue. Running coach John Goldthorp will lead us through Fairmount Park to our turnaround point, The Pavilion in the Trees. This is an all-levels run.

We'll start and end the run at the new Whole Foods Market at 2101 Pennsylvania Avenue. At the end of the run, enjoy complimentary snacks and specials on local draft beers at Parkway Pub, the in-store cafe at Whole Foods Market. Bike parking available.

Run will depart at 9:00 AM

BONUS: If you sign up for Fairmount Park Conservancy's Broad Street 2017 team at the Happy Hour (or sign up online and email [email protected] by 3/3), you’ll receive a free I Love Philly Parks Tote Bag in addition to all of the other perks. If you are ALREADY on our team (you rock!) you will receive a Whole Foods Market reusable bag and a box of Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies as a thank you.

More about the Pavilion in the Trees:
Not exactly a tree house, but inspired by the notion of one, Martin Puryear’s wooden structure near the Horticulture Center allows you to stand among the treetops, 24 feet above ground.
