ABOUT ABOUT

Join Fairmount Park Conservancy and ecotherapist/Lenape language keeper Krista Nelson for a winter hike along the Trolley Trail, where we'll find comfort and connection in nature.

As the bare winter trees remind us of loss, their structural beauty heralds the promise of new beginnings. Step by step along a two-mile route, we’ll shed what grief clings to. And as we let go, we'll clear a path for unlimited possibility. Join us as we embody a simple grounding process guided by imagination and the healing power of trees.

From Grieving to Grounding Winter Hike has its roots in From Grieving to Grounding, an interactive video Krista launched in 2020 to help assist those suffering during the COVID-19 Pandemic (trailer link).
