Join Fairmount Park Conservancy for a fun-filled Saturday at FDR Park featuring youth sports activities for all ages, a special appearance by Philadelphia Eagles mascot Swoop, an Olympic Rings Challenge, giveaways, free ice cream, Let's Rock Recess, balloon artist, face painting, food trucks, and more!

This event is completely free, and advance registration is recommended for pre-event information. We will also allow walk-up registration.

This event is in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative, Unity in the Community, and What's Up Philly.

Know Before You Go

  • Food and beverages will be available for purchase at food trucks on-site (credit cards accepted).
  • Restrooms and picnic tables are located near the food trucks.
  • We will have misters for cooling down, and water bottle filling stations for staying hydrated.
  • Comfortable clothing and shoes recommended. Field day events take place on grass and asphalt. Come ready to move, especially if you’re a kid!
  • We are watching the weather - if there is heavy rain on Saturday requiring us to cancel, we will share an update over email and social media.
