Join Fairmount Park Conservancy for a fun-filled Saturday at FDR Park featuring youth sports activities for all ages, a special appearance by Philadelphia Eagles mascot Swoop, an Olympic Rings Challenge, giveaways, free ice cream, Let's Rock Recess, balloon artist, face painting, food trucks, and more!
Activity stations include:
- Baseball + Softball with The On Deck Circle
- Basketball with Cool Wurld Organization
- Football with NFL Flag Philly & South Philly Sigma Sharks
- Ping Pong
- Rugby with Philadelphia Women’s Rugby Football Club
- Skateboarding with Together Skateboarding
- Soccer with Kensington Soccer Club
- Sports Play Patrol
- Ultimate Frisbee with Philadelphia Area Disc Alliance
This event is completely free, and advance registration is recommended for pre-event information. We will also allow walk-up registration.
This event is in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative, Unity in the Community, and What's Up Philly.

Know Before You Go
- Food and beverages will be available for purchase at food trucks on-site (credit cards accepted).
- Restrooms and picnic tables are located near the food trucks.
- We will have misters for cooling down, and water bottle filling stations for staying hydrated.
- Comfortable clothing and shoes recommended. Field day events take place on grass and asphalt. Come ready to move, especially if you’re a kid!
- We are watching the weather - if there is heavy rain on Saturday requiring us to cancel, we will share an update over email and social media.
