Join Fairmount Park Conservancy and the Association for Public Art for a free and fun bike tour of public art in Fairmount Park on the way to see In Motion, In Place: Trisha Brown Dance Company in Fairmount Park.
DATE AND TIME: Saturday, September 28 at 12:15pm (Rain date is Sunday, September 29)
MEETING LOCATION: Participants will meet by the Iroquois sculpture by the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The sculpture is located at 552 N. 24th Street, Philadelphia PA 19130.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE RIDE: The Association for Public Art will lead the bike ride and share interesting facts about the sculptures along the way. Please note that there will be a few hills along the ride.
The bike ride will first stop at Mount Pleasant Mansion for the 1pm performance of Foray Forêt. Following the performance, the ride will continue to the Discovery Center for the 2:15pm performance of Raft Piece. The ride will end at the Discovery Center.
