ABOUT ABOUT

***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** This hike has been rescheduled to SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23 at 1pm due to Sunday's inclement weather. If you have signed up for this hike, please check your email for further instructions.

Did you know that FDR Park is twice as big as you think it is? Join us on an approximately 2-mile guided walk led by Fairmount Park Conservancy's Stewardship Coordinator Lindsey Walker to explore the little-known western side of FDR Park which currently operates as a public golf course.

The golf course is closed for the season until March 1st, so this tour will safely explore this quiet 150-acre section of the park that offers wildlife sightings, unique views and natural areas including the historic Shedbrook Creek.

Due to naturally wet conditions in this section of the park, please be prepared for muddy areas. We strongly recommend wearing boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty.

Registration is free. Please let us know if you no longer need your ticket to free up space for someone else. If the event sells out, please book a "waiting list" ticket.
